Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣藝術大學 === 工藝設計學系 === 102 === Dreams are created via our own memory and emotional experiences to co-exist in the real world and to seek a balance and introspection. With related theoretical basic analysis verified by creation concepts, a series of works of budding hopes, sprouting and eternal fruition are created to express dreams are the bases of spiritual goals that motivate progress. Supported by hope, the original innocent attitude is rediscovered, during which self-appreciation is cultivated and treasure belonging to oneself in establishing dreams is searched for. With clay kneading, streams of consciousness are developed into all directions. Clay kneading also allows dreams and realities to coexist, utilizing the hollow space within the clay to encapsulate dreams and convey them. It makes use of color embellishment as well as the aggregation and expansion of clay’s granular property to create a dreamy, boundless ambience. The horizon in the theme represents the appearance we see and the current situation we are in. This line is not a boundary but symbolizes a datum plane. There is development space, continuously extending, above and underneath it or in any directions. By reversing mood, expanding imaginary space and breaking through visionary images, dreams belonging to oneself are created and so is eternal time to present lasting life cycles of pursing dreams.
