Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 森林環境暨資源學研究所 === 102 === Adopting the qualitative research approach, using deep interview, participant observation and literature review to collect information, and implemeting thematic analysis, this study aims to explore the sources of strengths for three volunteers of the Yonghe Community College who engage long term habitat restoration work voluntarily not to shrink from toil and hardship. This study finds that the past positive and negative significant life experiences to interact with the nature motivate three informants to contribute to habitat restoration in Yonghe Community College. Being involved in the environmental protection regime in the long run, it generates continously new life experiences. As the new and old life experiences mixing together, their belief on environmental conservation are enhanced which contributing to generation of volunteer action. Then newer experiences would be produced when the original and new life experiences merge with each other, and the newer those would enhance their belief of environmental conservation. Thus the belief contributes to forming the volunteer action.
