碩士 === 國立臺東大學 === 教育學系(所) === 102 === The essay described what I experienced in Lan-Yu by self narrative. This experience was not only the end of wander but also the beginning of the journey. The journey was from 2007 to 2010.The narrative is mainly for not only my life in Lan-Yu but also the difficulties and solutions of teaching in different culture. I also hope I can provide reference to those new teachers in Lan-Yu through my narrative. I met Lan-Yu. It discribed my life there. I met kids. It discribed the story that happened in the classroom, at school, and in the village. I met the different culture. There were surprices, sparkles, difficulties, transition, growth, and changes. Those were what happened after I met Lan-Yu. The journey of my experiences with different cultures not only recorded my life in Lan-Yu, but reflected my changes and growth of teaching. In Lan-Yu, I learned to change according to the situation and wait. I found the meaning besides being a teacher and opened my view of teaching. After leaving Lan-Yu, it was my motive power and also was the most fantastic memories of my teaching lives.
