碩士 === 國立臺東大學 === 進修部暑期體育碩士班 === 102 === Abstract This study aimed to investigate the parents support their children to participate in sports values and the correlation between, but targeting parents rather a lack of research, and parents is the key influence elementary school children,so This study discusses targeting parents.research methods is questionnaire, with participate in the support of self scale and Zhang Hongzhi, Chengrui Fu (2011) individual athletes training team to the country as an object, prepared by Movement Values Inventory as a tool, the subjects participated in 101 study for National students and teachers Cup fifth and sixth-grade male and female handball players of the parents,adopt random sample selected 20 teams,total of 400 questionnaires were,recycling 350 excluding invalid questionnaires 36 recovered, total of 314 valid questionnaires were,effective rate of 89.7% questionnaire data with SPSS 17.0 for Windows statistical analysis conducted, the main analysis methods: Descriptive statistics,independent Samples T-test,one-way anova pearson correlation.research discovered be summarized as follows,1.the values of the parents on the sport, in terms of gender, age, weekly exercise time and the age of the children were significant differences.2.continued participation in supporting their children, in the junior high and high school and university level, their gender, educational level,occupation,weekly exercise time and children are significant differences on gender.3.sports values and support their children continued participation of significant positive correlation. The results of this study to provide elementary school, parents, coaches and teachers to understand their parents` values and support their children sports`s continued participation situation, and to assist elementary school handball team to management, planning, training and follow-up study of reference.
