The objects of this research contain as below:1st.The teaching design and methods applied with multi-media ibooks , which compiled with the software of iBooks Author.2nd. The learning performances of pupils attending the lecture of Arts & Humanities rea1m, with which multi-media ibooks are applied. This research starts with document discussions as research bases, which including: the educational connotations of Arts &Humanities rea1m, the development and appliance of ibooks, the learning theories related to multi-media ibooks, the analyses of previous researches about ibooks- applied teaching issues. The second part of this research stresses on the decision of probing process and structure, and then the planning of the multi-media ibooks applied lecture of 6th graders’Arts & Humanities rea1m in elementary school, the editing of teaching plans, and the compiling of lecture-relating ibooks with ibooks Author. The last part of this research is actual teaching. The whole scale of teaching time lasts 3 weeks, divided into 6 periods of 40 minutes, hence sum total up to 240 minutes. During th proceeding of teaching, the research methods applied including the observation and interviews participated by the researcher, as well as learning papers, questionnaires, teaching diary, teaching introspection. All the data are collected, sound-recorded, or video-recorded, and then being through processing, inducing, and analyzing, in order to comprehend the learning performances of pupils and serve as the available reference for teachings applied with multi-media ibooks. The conclusions of this research are suggested as below: 1. Curricular contents must be student-centered and accommodate to students’daily life when initiating the teaching plans of Arts & Humanities rea1m applied with multi-media ibooks. 2. The learning performances of students answer to the quality and potentialities of their artistic works during the teaching of Arts & Humanities rea1m applied with multi-media ibooks.
