The study appears the parenting in an ADHD gifted child.
The participants of the study narrated on parenting experiences, by following semi-constructive outlines that accorded to the research purposes, and offered related information for comparative analysis. Triangulation in research process included the correspondence between the narrations and offered information, the examining on the relatedness between data and narrations by the double-degree master of qualitative and narrative research, and examining on the relatedness between data and narrations by the double-degree master of qualitative and narrative research, and the reading of the participants assuring their own experiences having been displayed, and the novel was written in participants’ experiences. The principal findings in parenting difficulties, by repeated readings, comparing and consulting in the participants, suggested that (1) the Mother of an ADHD gifted child suffered more than those usual in the pregnancy; (2) ADHD gifted children are mother-attached; (3) the Mother sank into the serious depression caused in parenting an ADHD gifted child; (4) ADHD gifted children show their unique as new born; (5) ADHD gifted children’s behavioral problems often cause from maladaptation in the educational schemes; (6) parents of ADHD gifted children have to face more marriage problems; (7) The unknown toward ADHD gifted children of the public leads to the blames toward the parents. The major findings in efforts of the parents suggested that (1) the finance support and burden are responded; (2) Parents of the ADHD gifted children have to help the children to net the relationship and friendship; (3) parents have to acquire related knowledge on the special kids and cooperate with the medical institutions; (4) parents have to learn to parenting the ADHD gifted children.
