Summary:碩士 === 國立臺東大學 === 文化資源與休閒產業學系 === 102 === The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between elementary school teachers’ leisure behavior and teaching effectiveness in Taitung, Taiwan. Teachers’ leisure behavior and teaching effectiveness were analyzed through literature review and surveys. A total of 349 valid questionnaires were collected by using hierarchical random sampling from formal elementary school teachers in Taitung County, Taiwan. Conclusions based on the results of data analysis can be summarized as follows: (1) Elementary teachers in Taitung participate in leisure activities more often for entertainment-oriented, family-oriented, social-oriented, and sport-oriented. (2) The majority of leisure behavior variables and teaching effectiveness have significant positive correlation. Keywords: leisure behavior, leisure participation, teaching effectiveness
