A total of 9 participants are interviewed in the study. Four themes emerge from the analysis process: (1) the life stories and illness experiences of persons with mental illness; (2) six recovery elements in the “Blessed Houses”; (3) the recovery process of persons with mental illness; and (4) recovery factors, including external and internal factors.
