Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 數位科技設計學系(含玩具與遊戲設計碩士班) === 102 === Chinese Calligraphy has developed over thousands of years of cultural history and demonstrates a great variety of styles that have evolved during the many different periods. Nowadays, the use of Calligraphy is actually expanding rapidly and its unique artistic features have made it even more prevalent in the digital age. The wide variety of different media provides many platforms that demonstrate the elegance of Calligraphy. Wang Xi Chong (王西崇) has combined the traditional Seal (篆), Clerical (隸), Running (行), Cursive (草) and Regular scripts (楷) with his own paintings, all rounded in the rich culture of Calligraphy and has constructed his own unique personal style. This famous calligrapher gave permission for his art work to be used for this study and in the development of our mobile game, an advergame, called “The Flowing Ink”. In order to fully understand the effect of our game in the promotion of culture, we analyzed the advertising effectiveness and game satisfaction achieved by our users. The results showed that the degree of accuracy and correctness with which a brand was remembered was less than 50% and this tells us that currently there is not enough exposure to brand information and this should be adjusted. The game satisfaction factor was good and the average score was above 3.5 on a five-point scale. This indicated that most of the subjects were satisfied with the game. The lowest average score was "smooth game play (no bugs)", the second lowest was “the game content is rich and varied”, indicating that we should improve the content and stability of the game.
