碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 文化創意產業經營學系 === 102 === Cultural assets are specific local spaces which reserve history, culture, and living memories of residents. Along with era and social changes, it’s questionable if culture assets evolve with time. Public cultural assets are supported with annual government’s budget to maintain operation under economic changes, on the other hand, private owned cultural assets are facing more challenges on operation because lack of government support. 　 　　Luzhou Lee Residence is the first private historical site in Taiwan voluntarily regulated by the government. AT the beginning of operation, Lee Residence was short of financial resource and faced fundraise difficulties. To cope with the issues, Lee Residence utilizes resources of public sectors to develop a culturally themed event named ‘draw lot’ (Zhua Zhou) by integrating ancient mansion background and related cultural resources. Furthermore, through efforts of holding cultural exhibitions, art activities, and community courses integrated with ecology friendly concepts, Lee Residence tries to explore new position of historical sites in modern age. 　　The study aims to explore the integration process of historical sites activation and cultural and creative industries through literature analysis, fieldwork, accompanied observation and in-depth interview. Quantified questionnaire survey was also conducted to verify the effect of draw lot event on historical sites activation and sustainability. On the concern of quality, structural equation modeling, SEM is applied for recalled sample analysis and hypothesis verification to further explore how the public impression on historical sites activation. The study tries to explore the integrated process of cultural assets and cultural creativities and is expected to serve as a reference for Taiwan cultural assets activation in the future. The study finds participants of ‘draw lot (Zhua Zhou)’ activity of Luzhou Lee Residence mostly fall between 30-40 of age, with college degree or above, and with good economic status. The traditional ‘draw lot’ activity has become a new and modern style of family gathering. The below are conclusions drawn from the study about the subject – ‘historical sites activation and cultural industry development’, 1. Humanism is the major focus throughout the context of development. 2. Creating new forms of cultural and creative industries 3. Public-Private Collaborative Governance established the foundation of private owned cultural assets. Endowing modern meanings to traditional practices through Lee Residence traditional ‘draw lot’ activity which manifests the value of re-use and activation of historical sites: The top attraction of Lee Residence lies on ‘able to pass on traditional and cultural heritage’, followed by ‘uniqueness of the practice’ and Lee Residence’s ‘space uniqueness’. Most people point out historical sites primarily function as ‘sight-seeing and recreation’. Another point worth mentioned is the ecologic environment receives more attention than the local culture.
