As for the ‘self-observation’, it’s a dialogue between inner self ego and external appearance. The exploration issue in discussion was employed to pry into the mystery of desire and pleasant sensation under self-reflection. The content structure is roughly as follows: Chapter One - was creation motive, which took the allergy experience (Dermographia) in life as a starting point and integrated and linked the current works. Chapter Two - listed works according to the theory of body art, from the “visible” body being seen to the invisible state of inner body and to the allergy being seen by selves and by others, introduced and discussed artists who influenced the author in terms of creation forms and themes. Chapter Three - told about the author’s pleasant sensation experience of the natural physiological needs through self-observation, which was reflected casually yet controllable, and the application of creation material and technique. Chapter Four - was work appreciation, which could be divided into three series, namely: (1) daily portrait; (2) visible and invisible series; (3) reality and invisibility. According to the theme connotation and the form analysis, the meaning expressed and the exhibition recorded in the work were focused on. Chapter Five – was epilogue that inspected the experience and gain from the work context, including the deeper understanding of the author’s own body through the practice as well as the hope and expectation for future creation.
