Research methods for the thesis is action research. Subjects of this study were chosen from 25 fourth grade pupils of the researcher to conduct a 12-weeks “recorder integrating into music teaching” courses. And through the generalization and analysis of “music aptitude tests” , “observation log of the teaching”, “teaching introspection journal” , “study reaction questionnaire” and “student interviews”. The following conclusions can be obtained: 1. When recorder is integrated into the music teaching, the aural ability of students will be improved. 2. When recorder is integrated into the music teaching, the creativity of students will be improved. 3. The recorder is an excellent and important auxiliary tool in musical teaching activity . 4. While recorder teaching has been implemented, students’ musicianship were enhanced.
