To achieve this aim, questionnaire survey was adopted with research instrument “Questionnaire of Emotion Management and Peer Interaction Relationship in Senior Students of Elementary Schools”. The research subjects were fifth and sixth grades students of Sanchong District Elementary School of New Taipei City with 327 students as research samples. The test results were studied through statistical approaches such as descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA and Pearson product-moment correlation. The main findings are listed below: I. In the aspect of emotion management, the senior students in this elementary school scored the highest in “emotion self-awareness” and the lowest in “emotion self-management”. In the aspect of peer interaction relationship, the average score of “acceptance” was higher than the scale median, indicating school children’s awareness of good peer interaction relationships of themselves; and the average score of “exclusion” was lower than the scale median, indicating school children’s total unawareness of the exclusion from their schoolmates. II. The emotion management of girl students was better than boy students; the differences in grades, number of siblings, birth orders and family structures did not make significant difference in the general emotion management of senior students in this elementary school. III. The peer interaction relationships of girl students were better than boy students; the differences in grades, number of siblings, birth orders and family structures did not make significant difference in the general peer interaction relationships of senior students in this elementary school. IV. A significant positive correlation was revealed between emotion management and peer interaction relationships of senior students of the elementary school, showing that the better the emotion management of school children, the better the peer interaction relationships. Discussions were made based on the above research results and suggestions were proposed to serve as reference for educational practice, parental education, counselling and future studies. Keywords: emotion management, emotional intelligence, peer interaction relationship Li-Kuang Chiu 丘立崗 2014 學位論文 ; thesis 103 zh-TW
