Generally, the conventional oxidation reaction is usually under high purity oxygen, but it is a very dangerous condition. Therefore, we referred to previous literature and obtained an idea: oxygen peroxide which replaces oxygen as an oxidant, copper catalyst and a suitable ligand dissolve in water. We would like to know whether this catalytic condition can oxidize variety of alcohols or not. Through many attempts, we found a method : copper chloride as catalyst, Neocuproine as ligand and TBHP as oxidant dissolve in water at room temperature can get good yield. In addition, the more extent of conjugate system, the better reactivity it has. The method is used in β-aryl ether which oxidizes the hydroxyl group. Lin, Hsiu-Mei 林秀美 2014 學位論文 ; thesis 80 zh-TW
