The use of computer-aided software Ansoft HFSS antenna simulation and analysis carried out, the original substrate FR4 fiberglass material to make simulation tests found the antenna gain is very small, so the substrate change to lower the loss tangent Neltec circuit board, antenna gain significantly improved, conforming to the CTIA ± 0.1 dB symmetry requirement, with excellent omni-directional radiation pattern, low loss and high radiation efficiency. The design of the antenna is based on the shape of polygon or circle structure, utilizing coupling gap and opposite symmetrical for the antenna. The antenna roughly divided the feed structure and the parasitic structure, when the gap between the feed structure and the parasitic structure to achieve critical coupling, there will be a maximum power coupling. The parasitic structure effects equivalent to metamaterial, so makes the antenna impedance matching and can be effectively improve the radiation efficiency.
