As more universities establish graduate programs of translation and interpretation, more relevant papers and theses have been published each year. In 2007, Liao's study has investigated the research papers and theses on interpretation studies published in Taiwan. Nevertheless, much more research papers have come out since then both in Taiwan and China, and it has become necessary that we collect and conclude the researches done over this period of time. This research is a replication of Liao's research in 2007. Research papers from major academic journals in both Taiwan and China, and scholarly theses from institutes of translation and interpretation are categorized and analyzed in this research with the method of content analysis.
