博士 === 國立臺灣師範大學 === 音樂學系 === 102 === The purpose of this study was to find the career transition process about non-major undergraduates choosing music as a career, and relational factors about why they made decisions. In this study, five qualified participants were invited to share their stories and each narration was transcribed under the "holistic - content" narrative approach. Results of this research were presented into two parts. First, five stories were told based on interviewing these participants for their music career transitions. Second, early music learning experiences, primary perspectives about music careers, the ways entering to music careers of the five participants along with the related factors influencing their choices were analyzed and discussed. Finally, this study proposed itself reflective thinking according to the results and gave suggestions to non-major undergraduates planning to choose music as a career, music faculty members at universities, and further researchers.
