Methods: All the 36 5th-grade students were divided into experimental and control group with 18 students respectively. Multi-dimensional Attention Test pretest were taken in both groups before the jumping rope training. Then we carried out thirty minutes a day, three days per week, and the way we took was single bounce as the principle. The control group did no jumping rope exercise but maintained the general daily routines. Eight weeks later, the data was analyzed by one-way ANCOVA to examine any change between two groups to see if they had significant differences between the two groups. Results: The result showed that the experimental group got superior scores in Multi-dimensional Attention Test 79.28(0.66) than the control group 75.83(0.66) (p<.05).The experimental group got superior scores in Selective Attention Test 18.57(0.39) than the control group 17.09(0.39) (p<.05).The experimental group got superior scores in Divided Attention Test 19.08(0.27) than the control group 17.86(0.27) (p<.05).The experimental group got superior scores in Sustained Attention Test 19.32(0.22) than the control group 18.63(0.22) (p<.05) Conclusion: Jumping rope eight weeks thirty minutes a day, three days per week could promote attention performance of elementary school students.
