Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 機電系統工程研究所 === 102 === This study proposes an innovative "high-performance air-cooled chiller" that integrated spray cooling and variable-frequency technology to improve cooling performance and power consumption of the air-cooled chiller, and there is no shortcomings about the sprinkler design of the current water-cooled chiller. The study in this system builds a set of ultrasonic mist generator. When the chiller is operating, the mist flows through the condenser evenly with the airflow from the fan on the condenser. More heat is taken away by evaporation of water particles so it achieves superior cooling effect. A filter is installed in the inlet side of the mist generator in order to prevent mist scaling problems. The environmental HC refrig-erant is adopted, which characteristics have high conversion rate and reduction of mechani-cal loss. The energy efficiency of this study is quite high. Compared with general equipment of the same refrigerated room capacity, this equipment can meet the demand of the refriger-ated room more quickly, so the start and stop frequency increase of the compressor may lead to shorter the compressor life. Therefore, this study employs a variable-frequency controller to improve the start and stop frequency increase. In addition to the better energy efficiency, this system enhances the competitiveness of the air-cooled chiller market.
