Summary: | 博士 === 國立臺南大學 === 教育學系教育經營與管理碩博士班 === 102 === The purpose of this study was to investigate the innovative behavior in college students of Taiwan. Five factors, creative life experiences, playfulness, creative tendency, innovative-support environment and creative self-efficiency were selected from the literature to determine the innovative behavior in this research. Total 414 Questionaires were collected from the senior students of seven universities.
Data were analyzed by Structure Equation Modeling (SEM) with Amos and LISREL. Eight hypotheses were examined for the innovative behavior. Finally, we found a model for this study. The result showed that the model fit was good. The hypothesis was confirmed as following:
1) There was a significant difference between gender and support environment or
self-efficacy and between the students from different institute and playfulness.
2) Creative tendency positively affected the innovative behavior significantly.
3) Creative self-efficiency positively affected the innovative behavior significantly.
4) Creative life experience, playfulness or innovative-supporting environment
failed to affect the innovative behavior.
Therefore, we propose a suggestion based on our conclusions to the administration executives, professors, students, and follow researchers. The direction of improvement of the innovative behavior modeling and factors of supporting environment, playfulness and life experience are warranted for future study.
