The research conducted purposive sampling method with four maladjusted college students who were interviewed by using qualitative research method with semi- structured depth interview. The holistic content analysis was adopted to analyze narratives. The findings were as follows: 1.Stated below are the processes of college students who shift from career undecided to identity achievement. a. Career undecided stage: college students lost interest in their major, lacked motive to considered their career and to set goals, had no idea about their personal interest, value and mental needs to make a choice. b. Career exploration stage: college students were influenced by factors like family and peers, and start to explore their career and planned for it. Moreover, family’s opinions have major influence on college students’ career-deciding-process. c. Career decided stage: career exploration increase successful experiences and knowing for occupation environment, which helped made college students confirm they’re suitable for the occupation, forming career decision. 2.The subjective career exploration experiences of college students. a. College students got to understood occupation environment via intended- systematic exploration, and experience the feeling of doing the job, that’s helpful to confirm career decision-making and increase relatedness of the occupation. b. College students are aware of their ability, advantages and disadvantages in doing this job, which offers them a chance to evaluate if they’re suitable for this job. c. College students realize the positive and negative evaluations for the job from the seniors or through inquiring people they know, and form their personal realization for the occupation. d. College students think of their characters, motives, needs and values prior to and after conducting intended- systematic exploration, and evaluate if the occupation meet their needs, then make further career decisions. Finally, according to the research findings, some suggestions were provided for future research, for participants and counselors to assist the extradyadic people.
