Nowdays, many consumer products have been connected by internet network wiring technology. In order to satisfy the huge requirement of data transmission, the transmission cable has been progressed from copper wire cable to fiber optic cable. This causes the transmission speed of internet advances from 1G to 100G. However, most users don’t sense the developmental progress of network. The researcher has been in the telecommunication career for years and has taken part in the progress and milestone changes of network. There are four issues will be discussed below in this thesis:
1. The background of copper wire cable and fiber optic cable.
2. Introduced the material of copper wire cable and fiber optic
cable.
3. The construction methods of copper wire network.
4. The construction methods of fiber optic cable.
