A questionnaire survey was adopted in this research and supported with interview for further analysis. A self-designed questionnaire titled "The Study of Teachers’ Professional Learning Communities of Junior High School " was distributed to the teachers from junior high schools in southern Taiwan area, including Chiayi, Tainan, Kaohsiung and Pingtung, and wrer carrying out the Teachers' Professional Learning Coummunity, a plan executed by the Ministry of Education. 294 copies of questionnaire were distrubed and 214 valid copies were retrieved with an effective rate of 72.7%. The data received were analyzed through descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA, Chi-square Test and Kendall coefficient of concordance. Besides, 5 representative teachers among the participant teachers were selected as purposive samples for in-depth interview. After ananlyzing datea, the results of the study are as follows : 1. There are significant differences between schools of different sizes in teachers’ professional learning communities of teachers joined the length of time and the teacher professional learning community development stage." 2. Teachers’ Professional Learning Community as a whole has a degree of effectiveness of above average. 3. There are significant differences in teachers' position on student learning. 4. Different size of the school Teachers' Professional Learning Communities are facing similar difficulties. 5. Teachers’ Professional Learning Community operational strategies are "bottom-up development", "leader of the height of enthusiasm" and "school administration support." 呂錘卿 2014 學位論文 ; thesis 123 zh-TW
