The instructional processes of remedial teaching for students with low mathematics achievement are qualitatively described in associated with quantitative analyses, including learning sheets, video data and the post-test grades, to evaluate their ability, attitude, and achievement towards mathematics learning. Six subjects, whose are 2nd-grade students in the elementary school that performances were lower than the average of 35% students in classes, are selected for the present research. The results indicate that, after 8 weeks of total 16 classes of remedial teaching, 1. The subject exhibit convincing improvements in mathematics learning, such as the conceptual understanding in mathematics, the skills in progressively solving mathematical problems as well, students achieve higher marks and improve their math skills. 2. The subjects that develope a positive and aggressive learning attitude towards mathematics after the research is completed. Improving learning interests and confidence and the students’ attitude and ability to stay focused. 3. The researcher have own reflections on and professional growths in “Cooperative Learning” and “Mathematics remedial teaching”. Recommendations for teachers, school administrators and future researchers were made according to the above research results.
