碩士 === 國立臺中教育大學 === 教育學系 === 102 === The purposes of this study were to understand the meaning of community relations management, to explore the current situations of community relations management in the Elementary Schools of the Taichung City, and to make conclusions and recommendations to enhance the relationship between Elementary Schools and their communities in Taichung City. The population consisted of all of the elementary schools in Taichung City. By proportionally stratified sampling, there were 735 elementary schools as the sample and mailed 602 questionnaires for the teachers to respond. There were 528 valid questionnaires. The research tool was self-designed. This study found the ways of the Elementary School community relations management in Taichung City were diversity, including the use of mail, telephone, Internet, visiting and organizing activities, etc..
