Space is not only the field of human activity but also reflects the cultural values of human society, and the psychological identification. People understand the spatial knowledge through spatial experiences, and understand the knowledge of the world through local experiences. The research for the spatial patterns in the chinese language textbooks by the content analysis. The textbooks contain grades 1-6 by three publishers, Nan I (Nan I Book Enterprise Co., Ltd.), Kang Hsuan (Kang Hsuan Educational Publishing Co., Ltd.), and Han Lin (Han Lin Publishing Co., Ltd.). The diagram of categories of spatial patterns is formed with the spatial theory of geography and literature, and the analysis process of textbooks.
