Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺中教育大學 === 美術學系碩士班 === 102 === Penghu County is surrounded by various offshore islands. Jibei is one of the typical islands. It contains with broadly intertidal zone. Residents in the early years were likely to fish by living while some farming in a self-sufficiency way. Through years, life styles has changed. The culture of ocean resources has been underestimated especially the traditional fishing technique using stone weirs.
Recently due to great quantity of visitors, the traditional fishing techniques has been a show for tours. People has improved their economic conditions while damages brings about unexpectedlly. The disuse shells of snails, shellfish and sea urchins are abandoned by seashore or uncovered trashcans which causes swarmed mosquitos and insects. Besides, enormous trashes, driftwoods and scrapped fishing gears causes damaging to the ocean as well. The research is to reuse dumpings and combine them with marine art in education. This in turn, a way to motivate children to experience the culture of ocean, environment and resources.
This action research involved the fourth-grade students from a primary school in Penghu County. The span of time are 23 art classes. Through practicing progress analysis, student reviews and students productions assessment.The main conclusions are as follow:
1. Through the results of practicing progress analysis, marine education into visual art learning is practicable.
2. Through teacher’s teaching observation form and teaching progress analysis, marine education into visual art learning improve art learning.
3. Through practicing progress analysis and student reviews, marine education into visual art learning using marine dumping create learning diversity.
4. Through student productions assessment form, students can create multiple product using marine dumpings.
Hopefully, the results of this study can provide helpful information in this area, connected theories and practice together and contribute better understanding for schools, communities, visaul art teachers and those people who study in this area.
