Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺中教育大學 === 區域與社會發展學系碩士班 === 102 === This research aims to explore the tourism effects of three free shuttle routes (Red line, Blue line and Orange line) of Taiwan High Speed Railway (THSR) in Taichung city, and analyze the nodal functions of free shuttle routes for sightseeing. The objectives of this research are to analysis the feasibility of arrangement of tourist shuttle routes, distinguish the nodal characteristic of the three free shuttle routes for tourism, and assess the sightseeing benefits of shuttle services. The analysis indicators for tourism effects are divided into three dimensions-timing, integrity and convenience to explore the design principles of shuttle routes, the tourist attractions of shuttle nodes, and the effectiveness of sightseeing of the three free shuttle routes. The research methods to investigate the satisfactions of transportation connections and shuttle nodal functions for the three free shuttle routes on sightseeing used descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA and GIS buffering to illustrate the tourism effects of THSR. According to questionnaire investigations, "delay time or not" is the most obvious indicator on the "timing" dimension; "tourist attractions are attractive" and "independent shuttle service" are the most obvious indicators on the "integration" dimension; "feeder moving line" and "service attitude" are the most obvious indicators on the "convenience" dimension. On the dimensions of nodal functions of tourism based on research samples, Red line does not have the function of destination zone belonging to a diameter type of design principle; Blue line with single node destination zones and multiple node destination zones belongs to a ring type of design principle; Orange line is with chained destination zones by a multipoint to multipoint type of design principle. Finally, with multiple ring buffer analysis for 1000 meters of the access distance for walking, Orange line is the most efficiency shuttle route among the three ones of THSR in Taichung City for sightseeing.
