Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺中教育大學 === 幼兒教育學系碩士班 === 102 === The purposes of this study were to investigate creative personalities and creative teaching at elementary school and kindergarten teachers based on the different background variables, for understanding the correlation between creative personalities and creative teaching at elementary school and kindergarten teachers. A questionnaire method was employed for this study. Study tools used including “creative personality scale” and “creative teach scale”. There were 723 teachers including 344 elementary school and 379 kindergarten teachers, from the central part of Taiwan participated this study. For the data analyses, the reliability analysis, factor analysis, descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA), and Pearson’s correlation were applied after recovering formal questionnaire. the results were as follows:
1. Teachers in elementary school and kindergarten, in the central part of Taiwan, demonstrated the median-high score of the creative personalities and creative teaching.
2. There were significant differences of teachers’ creative personalities, in the central part of Taiwan, among teachers’ differences object, gender, education degree, school size, teaching classes, marital status, help with the administration, and the nature of the school. In gender only to explore the elementary school teachers.
3. There were significant differences of teachers’ creative teaching, in the central part of Taiwan, among teachers’ differences object, gender, teaching years, education degree, school size, teaching certificate, teaching classes, marital status, help with the administration, school districts, and the nature of the school. In gender only to explore the elementary school teachers.
4. There was a significant positive correlation between teachers’ creative personalities and their creative teaching.
