Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣體育運動大學 === 運動管理學系碩士班 === 102 === This study aimed to investigate the relationships among the social support, participation motivation and learning effectiveness of elementary school tabletennis players, and to compare the differences of demographic variables on manipulated variables. Subjects of the study were Chiayi and Tainan elementary school tabletennis players in 2013. To collect data, the cluster and proportion sampling was conducted by which a total of 480 questionnaires were distributed and 436 questionnaires were returned. Of the 436 returned questionnaires, 407 were valid responses corresponding with a 84.8% return rate. The data was then computed by descriptive statistics, repeated measures ANOVA analysis, one factor multivariate analysis of variance, LSD and Scheffe (Scheffe) post hoc comparisons and path analysis. The results showed that there are significant differences between demographic variables on social support, participation motivation and learning effectiveness; social support has positive impact on learning effectiveness; participation motivation has positive impact on learning effectiveness; social support has positive impact on participation motivation. The social support also indirectly affects the t learning effectiveness through participation motivation.
