The study outcome showed that around 60% of participants might be regarded as LTC in potential encompassing some domains under overall , oral , mobility, nutrition and depression ,40% participants without any risk. Some of them with the risk in single domain(57%), however the other might possess two and more domains(43%) .The study might be helpful to afford some supports of polite investigation. Base on the study, the finding implied the weak linkage between the risk of LTC and those with mental disorder, that is the residents of halfway house for this study. This study is aimed to explored long-term care (LTC) in potential among purposive samples of mental disorders in specific facilities. It used structure questionnaire (containing basic sociodemographics, health profile & self-perceiving status) and the screening tool on LTC in Japan(the Kaigo -Yobo Checklist). The data collection of 205 subjects in total had been conducted from May to July this year. The study outcome showed that around 60% of participants might be regarded as LTC in potential, encompassing some domains under overall, oral & teeth, mobility, nutrition and depression, however 40% of participants without any LTC risk. Some of them with the risk in single domain(57%) for the risk in potential, however the remaining might possess two and more domains (43%). The singles included mobility(11.3%), oral & teeth(8.4%) and nutrition(0.8%) in potential respectively; those with two and more domains reached 83% containing depression, where it not neglectful! The study might be helpful to afford some supports or pilot trial. Other variables workups could offer too much significant correlation as shown. Base on the study, the finding only implied the weak linkage between the risk of LTC and those with mental disorders(i.e. the residents of halfway house for this study specified). It’s inconclusive anyway, further studies or workups have still been mandatorily.
