Also, the status quo of the parenting education offered by these institutions will be studied. It is hoped that the results of the research will be so abundant and concrete that they can serve as effective suggestions, which, in turn, will be conducive to the efforts of related government authorities in implementing parenting education. Taking as the research objects the parents whose children have enrolled in the after-school child care services in Taipei city, this research adopts as its instrument the method of questionnaire survey, the “questionnaire survey of the demands of parents of after-school child care services for parenting education” which has been adapted from and revised according to the related reference literature. The questionnaires are distributed to the parents on the basis of “stratified quota sampling.” Then, the questionnaires will be gathered, analyzed and studied by such methods as “descriptive statistics,” “one-way analysis of variance,” “Scheffe’s method of posteriori comparison,” “analysis of multiple-answer questions,” and “t-test.” Based on the results of analysis, conclusions obtained are as follows: 1.The type of parenting educational activities held by the after-school child care services belongs largely to that of parent-child activity in terms of group activity. As for the individual activity, parent-teacher communication book is the type that is mostly adopted. 2.The facts that parents nowadays are mostly occupied in their schedule and that supporting systems are sufficient and convenient are the primary factors which are decisive in influencing parents’ participation in parenting education. 3.As for the contents of parenting education, parents desire mostly for more information on the cultivation of moral conducts and values. The implementation of all these falls under the category of “demands.” 4.The variables involved in implementing parenting education vary with the educational background of parents, the type of household, the duration of time which parents spend accompanying and interacting with their children. 5.The demands of parents for parenting education vary with the attributes that the after-school child care services falls under. 楊金寶 2014 學位論文 ; thesis 142 zh-TW |
