Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北護理健康大學 === 旅遊健康研究所 === 102 === This study aims to explore the current status of work stress, burnout and health, and the relationship amongst those variables. The questionnaires sampled from a target population of the 420 teachers of municipal junior high schools in Taipei, Taiwan and 329 valid samples were collected. Analysis was conducted with SPSS 20.0 and LISREL 8.8, and some descriptive statistics and structural equation modeling were applied to test the proposed model. The findings indicated an acceptable fitness for the model. The results suggested that the highest stress is workload and the highest degree of burnout is impersonal. The model results concluded that work stress appears to influence health significantly and negatively; work stress appears to influence burnout significantly and positively; and burnout appears to influence health significantly and negatively. We suggest several future research issues and implications for educational units that can help teachers reduce work stress and reduce burnout.
