During his youth, he was strongly influenced by the pessimistic philosophies of Arthur Schopenhauer, due to which his works were painted by pessimistic tones. By the Revolution of 1911, Wang’s thoughts could be divided into two stages. In the first stage, he worried about the life that his works created in the first stage demonstrated his questions, woes, and worry towards the dilemmas of life, the living status, and existence values, as well as towards the boring and short life time. He was able to manifest the western philosophical ideas through Chinese poetic forms and to converge both Chinese and western academic ideas together which pointed out direction of the development of the classical poetry. This research conducted profound analysis on his poetic works in order to uncover other major ideas that composed his “life worried” philosophy. In addition, the Schopenhauerian philosophy would still be taken into account so that this research will be able to overall analyze the “life worried” thought. This research can be divided into six chapters. The first chapter is introduction. The second one is dedicated to describing his profile, thoughts. Chapter three is devoted to describing ideas that composed the “life worried” thought. The fourth chapter was about how the thought expressed in his works specifically. The fifth chapter introduced the significance of his thought in the poetic history and the enlightening function this thought played. The conclusion of the research will be conducted in the five chapter. Chien,chin-sung 簡錦松 2014 學位論文 ; thesis 136 zh-TW |
