Description
Summary:博士 === 國立屏東科技大學 === 熱帶農業暨國際合作系 === 102 === This dissertation uses the concept of Metafrontier Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), the super-efficiency and the Tobit regression model to compare the technical efficiency (TE), scale efficiency (SE) and what factors inference the mango production in Hainan at 2012 for 68 DMU. Empirical result showed that for the regional the farm place analysis, The average TE and SE in South (0.566, 0.725) and West (0.577, 0.792) are very close. It proof the South and West was same in efficiency of mango production. Moreover, the Birth Place for the farmer have different TE and SE, but in the Tobit regression model, For the special management method case easy to sale and have high price, could increase the efficiency in the west of Hainan. For the farmers birthplace, the Fujian performed the highest score (1.015), followed by the Taiwanese (0.849) and the Hainan (0.694) that was show the Fujian could produce mango with high efficiency in technology production in the average. For the land ownership analysis, the own land performed the highest score (0.941), followed by the renting farm (0.827) and the renting land (0.778). The Tobit regression model show that experience and early harvesting practical could increase the super-efficiency scores of mango production in the Hainan.
