Summary: | 碩士 === 國立屏東科技大學 === 車輛工程系所 === 102 === This study presents the lens-free CMOS sensor modules which were installed on a tracker for a long-term monitor for the dust deposition of HCPV modules. The dust deposition influence on the efficiency and the cleaning cycle of HCPV modules were investigated.
The research results have shown that the size of the particles are mainly concentrated in the 20 ~ 30 μm by observation pictures from CMOS. Less than 10 mm of light rain or dew changed the arrangement of dust deposition which larger than 800 pixels on the module surface. It was possible to generate a HCPV module clean effect. HCPV module power generation reducing efficiency is negligible when the dust deposition was less than the amount of coverage 1.61%. It took about seven days to reach more than 1.61% of dust coverage in the spring and summer because the climate condition was humid, but reached more than 1.61% of the coverage within three days during the autumn and winter because of less rainfall. It took about one day to reach more than 1.61% during the sandstorm season. The HCPV module clean cycle was about seven days in spring and summer, and for three days in autumn and winter. When the sandstorm or haze alert was issued, the HCPV module cleaning process needed every day. According to this study, we recommend the cleaning of the HCPV modules more often in autumn and winter than in the spring and summer in order to keep the HCPV modules' generating efficiency in top condition.
