Summary: | 碩士 === 國立屏東科技大學 === 工業管理系所 === 102 === The road surface flatness status is usually at perfect situation when it was just completed. After running by vehicles and the influence of weather condition, it is not surprise that potholes and cracks might show on the surface of road. These potholes and cracks might cause uncomfortable during driving or even car accidents. In order to provide a quality surface of road, it relies on the patrol inspection. Therefore, this study applies the Particle Swarm Optimization route planning, Cartesian coordinates from google maps and rectangular distance to improve the accuracy of road patrolling process and to minimize the route distance and cost. In this research, three parameters are developed to perform the experiment for comparative and performance analysis. The result shows that the first developed parameter has a greater chance to get the shortest route and the path among the three parameters designed is more centralized and stable. Also, the mean and error values are significantly smaller than the other two parameters.
