The study found: 1. The percentage of left-handed tennis players is higher than the percentage of normal left handed population. 2. The earlier to learn playing tennis, the better. 3. More top 10 ITF junior players were born at January, February and March. But there is no such tendency in top 100 pro tennis players. 4. Tennis is more popular in Europe and America. 5. 13.64% and 43.18% top 10 ITF junior players can become top 10 and top 100 pro tennis players. 6. From the cross analysis between junior and pro players’ win-loss ratios and total numbers of games play, we found the juniors should play 105 matches and an average of 77% win-loss ratio to earn the top 10 ranks. For top 10 ATP players, the average win-loss ratio is 65% and should play 667 matches. Hence, we conclude that a better junior player should win 67% and player 100 matches. The ATP players should play 660 matches. 7. The junior players reach top 10 at average 18 years old. The pro players reach top 10 at 24 years old. 8. The ones with lower age to become top 10 junior players has bigger chance to become top 100 pro players with older age.
