The three main sources of the pollution come from domestic sewages, industrial wastewater and livestock wastewater. In contrast, western society, such as North America and Europe, Japan and other advanced countries have used constructed wetland for natural purification methods. This method of purification has been used in contaminated water for many years, and the cost is much lower compared to sewage treatment plants. The results include flood detention, resupplying groundwater, provide habitual space for animals, increase biodiversity and improve natural landscape with simple and effective operations and maintenance. This research is to investigate Wannian creek upstream Fanziliao creek of livestock wastewater after passing through an ecological pond with controlled overflow and decontaminating effect in Wanyanqudao. Using the water level height difference percolation through the Chunglanjiuzhen and regular monitoring of water quality and quantity changes to understand the behavior, as well as, the sampling of soil permeability coefficients obtained by Darcy’s law with water quality testing,the study found that after percolation,biochemical oxygen demand (BOD5) removal efficiency of 43.8%,ammonia (NH3-N) removal efficiency was 35.2%,thus percolation effects on biochemical oxygen demand (BOD5) and ammonia (NH3-N) have good pollution removal,and diameter 250mmΦ,250m length of percolation tube also receive 50 cubic meters / day (CMD) adequate water.
