Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東教育大學 === 華語文教學碩士學位學程 === 102 === The objective of this study is to investigate how culture and creativity in Chinese characters can be incorporated with the teaching of the Chinese language. In the past, similar studies incorporated the two through songs, comics, visual and audio animations, animations based on the strokes of Chinese characters, and secret Kung-fu styles. The objective of these studies is to create a more lively and easily comprehensible teaching method so that a more effective and less stressful education can be reached while also infusing students with motivation and passion when learning the Chinese language. This study applies the participation method with "aesthetics" as the targeted theme. The structure of the study is centered around culture and creativity in Chinese characters as well as other relevant knowledge on the characters. A questionnaire survey is adopted to correctly analyze each of the respondents’ needs in learning the Chinese Language. Through observation, interview, and investigation, the findings are as follows: 1. Life is added to Chinese characters when students conduct assignments designed with the concepts of culture and creativity. 2. Emphasis on creative art and techniques should be placed in teaching Chinese characters. 3. An alternate use of cultural and creative objects with texts and drawings helps students create association when learning Chinese characters. 4. Broad and extensive sentence practices based on students’ names are a creative method in the teaching of Chinese language. 5. The analysis of the form of Chinese characters and expanded learning coincide with the principles of language acquisition. 6. The poetic analysis of the level and oblique tones, and the rhythm of sentences help inspire students’ perception of aesthetics. Finally, this study provides suggestions in the following four areas: budget, educators, teaching methods and materials, and possible directions for future research.
