Summary:博士 === 國立屏東教育大學 === 教育行政研究所 === 102 === This study aimed to understand the professional literacy recognition of arts and humanities teachers in junior high schools in Taiwan. Further, the study investigated the relationship between the cultivation and employment of teacher education program. Finally, the study explored the importance of education concentration courses and education specialized courses. In the study, data was obtained by questionnaire. A total of 903 questionnaires were distributed with a return of 810 valid questionnaires. The effective response rate was 89.7%. The findings were as followed: 1. The content of "Professional Standards for High School Teachers"was suitable for arts and humanities teachers in junior high schools. 2. The teacher education program for arts and humanities teachers put more emphasis on the professional knowledge courses. 3. Arts and humanities teachers developed better capability on adapting professional knowledge. 4. There was a gap between the cultivation and employment of teacher education program. 5. Education concentration courses helped arts and humanities teachers fit the professional standards. 6. Education specialized courses helped arts and humanities teachers fit the professional standards. Finally, some suggestions were made to teacher education centers and future studies.
