The experimental design of this study use nonequivalent groups of pre-test, after-test and track-test, by using two class of students totally 62 samples which studying in sixth grade from one of the elementary school in Kaohsiung city. Experimental group teach by the cooperative learning way, control group teach by traditional way, take ten weeks, two classes per week, a total of twenty experimental teaching lesson. The study take sixth graders of elementary school children’s Chinese reading comprehension tests, reading motivation scale evaluation and cooperative learning outcomes assessment form etc. research tools to collect data tables, to realize after teaching two group of student have any difference in performance of reading motivation and reading comprehension and the reaction from students which teach by cooperative learning way. The main research result are as follows: 1.Cooperative learning way for elementary school students reading comprehension ability have a positive impact. 2.Cooperative learning way for elementary school students reading motivation have a positive impact. 3.The experimental group students and parents reactions positive and affirmation in cooperative learning.
