How to make the senior citizens’feel satisfied in both internal spirit and feelings, from their past experience and the process of learning, and to increase the confirmation to social value is extremly important. This is also significant to develope the senior citizens’ psychological benefits. According to Csikszentmihalyi’s Flow theory, when people interestingly concentrate on their tasks, a sense of high pleasure and fulfillment will be emerged. This thesis is a qualitative case study. The purposes are to delve into the senior citizens’ flow experience of relearning by arts activities, technology and to explore how they attain the emotive demand, physical and spiritual satisfaction, self-realization and the enhancement of self-worth in society. The methods consist of the interviews with four senior citizens by videotaping, observation of their music, technology works and drawings. The research finding shows (1) The arts activities learning motivations of the senior citizens has four: part, compensation psychology, the support of friends and relatives, findings filled the time and broaden their sociality. (2) Senior citizens’ relearning in terms of arts activities to establish the goals and to keep positive attitude of thinking. We believe that accumulated experiences and wisdom will always accompanied with flow experience. (3) The satisfaction and the performance of creativity to the senior citizens, provides a chance for their self-exhibition. By means of this case study, the results support that relearning in terms of arts activities help the senior citizens to keep positive situation with physiological, psychology and social relationships. These point of view reach the arguments of successful aging. The research takes this opportunity to provide suggestion of successful aging with the senior citizens, and made them attain the emotive demand, physical and spiritual satisfaction.
