First, floor indicators that can be placed in various areas, simultaneously. Second, signals in the corners of walls, near room ceilings. Third, a control hub. The floor indicators consists of LED lights that indicate the direction to the nearest exits. In the case of smoke or smog reaching 750ppm, the ceiling signals will sense the hazard, then transmit a signal to the control hub, thus the control hub will transfer a further signal to the LED indicators that will indicatre the direction to the nearest exit. Furthermore, this module system not only detects smoke and/or smog but also hazardous substances such as Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG), Butane (C4H10), Propane (C3H8), Methane (CH4), Ethanol, and Hydrogen. The capability of this module system surpasses harmful-substance detectors that the fire department utilize. Through empirical evidence, this module system detects harmful substances, stated above, within four seconds. 95% of subjects interviewed by video had claimed the sense of vision is what is mainly relied on most in fire/smoke related disasters. This module system may be greatly considered and will be of a topic discussed in the near future of fire-escape systems. 碩士 === 南開科技大學 === 電子工程研究所 === 103 === Abstract
This research is based on a module system with the purpose of mitigating smoke-related injuries, in which detects smoke and/or smog consisting of three parts.
