| Summary: | 碩士 === 南開科技大學 === 車輛與機電產業研究所 === 102 === Product variety is already a tendency in Taiwan conventional industries now, so every kind of products need to be efficiently stored on the shelves and to be appropriately laid up at the store-locations of a storehouse. There are many kinds of goods shelves suitable for the different shape, weight, volume and package manner of goods. However, a maximum amount of goods storage in a minimum store space is the purpose of choosing the types of goods shelves. Therefore, an appropriate design on goods shelves is a key factor for influence on space utility and goods transport in a storehouse.
Some factors should be considered for optimizing a store-location plan and a storage racking arrangement as follows：
(1) Fluently on transport in goods temporary areas and examine operation stations.
(2) Efficiently time on the treatment of goods receiving and sending.
(3) Conveniently on the operation of goods store.
(4) Crash-avoiding on the transport of goods
(5) Conveniently on the checking of goods store.
(6) Highly on the space turnover rate of goods store.
(7) Loss-avoiding on the all processes of goods store.
(8) Conveniently on quick and correct checking of goods store yearly.
In this study， an investigation of store-locations and goods shelves design is proposed for obtaining an appropriate solution of the Action Tools Corporation company storehouse to overcome the present treatment defects of goods store, to save the management cost of goods store, to achieve the efficiency time on the treatment of goods receiving and sending，and to improve the competition abilities and the business benefits of the company.
