The research offered the courses that the students need to take for different grade level for Taiwan and the United States, and had an analysis of the order, depth and limit. By doing so, there will be a better understanding if a student is able to be adapted to the different learning standard and environment. This thesis uses comparative research, recorded the high school mathematic learning standard of Taiwan and the United States, and for the current Taiwan high school mathematic learning standards (Curriculum in 2010), as well as current U.S. learning standards - Common Core State Standards for Mathematics (CCSSM) be analyzed and discussed. Wish there will be a contribution to mathematics education in the revision of textbooks and modification of the learning standards. Also, give some reference information for students who came back to the country to continue their studies or study abroad.
