Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 教育學系 === 102 === The purposes of this study intend to investigate the curriculum articulation of the natural science course in junior high school and the first year natural science course in senior high school. This study used a qualitative research method. The study employs document analysis, content analysis and interviews to collect data in order to understand the "curriculum guidelines", "textbook content" and "teaching practice" three levels of articulation. Science high school teachers are interviewed to understand the problem of articulation. The conclusions of this research are as follows: On the present articulation of the curriculum guidelines, the whole framework of the curriculum guidelines is designed consistently in unity. The goals of curriculum guidelines are designed with consistency. Reduction in teaching hours is easy to produce overlapping problems. The items and elements of curriculum guidelines are different between junior and senior high school. On the present articulation of the textbook content, the first-grade physics textbooks for senior high school and physics textbooks for junior high school are at the low degree of overlapping. The content of first-grade chemistry textbooks for senior high school and chemistry textbooks for junior high school are overlopped up to sixty percent. But some seientific terms are not consistent in chemistry textbooks. On the present articulation of the teaching practice, senior high school science teachers mentioned difficulty of textbook content and teaching hours are not enough. ‘’Symbols for Elements and the Periodic Table of Elements’’and ‘’The Kinematic Equations’’ are keytopic with overlapping of content.
