The researcher has been thought and investigated the traditional logics and feministic ones. It is hoped that through investigation on feminist psychology and self-reflections of the researcher, the unreasonable spiritual shackles can be removed and basic women’s rights can be found and self-identification can be realized ultimately. Through the process, the self explored by the researcher can be found without sexism concerning by most people. Therefore, in my discourse, post-modern feminist ideology and feminism do not conflict with each other. It is a process with accumulated and abundant multiple dimensions about self in argument. In this thesis, first of all, feminist related works in modern arts were compared and analyzed. Second, based on modern philosophy, female was explained in its nature and connected to the researcher’s work. It is expected that through the process of invention, the search of self-identification can be fulfilled. There are four chapters in this study. The contents of each chapter are described as follows: Chapter One: Introduction. The introduction includes the motivation and purpose of the creation. Various females from different periods in Taiwan are selected. Their identities and backgrounds when they were creating the works were analyzed and compared. The materials for the creations were also explained, such as the reasons for choosing 2D drawing, feminist issues, and the process for the creations. Chapter Two: Literature Review includes feminism and self-identification in modern philosophy and modern feminist arts. Based on the theories of post-structuralism, the realization of feminism was discussed. Based on Erikson and Phyllis Chesler perspectives, females’ differences, reflections, and identification were analyzed. Thus, the creation formats and thoughts which are in agreement with the researcher’s and influence the researcher were analyzed in contexts. Chapter Three: The researchers’ detailed explanations on the connotations of the works. Female issues have been found in daily lives all the time. Therefore, the analysis of the works can be discussed widely and in depth. Chapter Four: The conclusion Self-liberation and the search for identification. This chapter concludes the whole creation process and the constructed contexts for thoughts after the study of theories by the researcher. Limitations and suggestions for the future studies are also proposed in this chapter. Keywords: Female, Self, Identification, Postfeminism
