碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 國文教學碩士班 === 102 === Life and death are both ends of human’s life, the individual will survive after being born. We easily focus on view of life and neglect death’s truth. But life and death are two important points of human’s life, it is not true if you only discuss one of them. Su Shi is famous for his articles until today , including thought about life and death. Su Shi loves nature but he is pressed to join exam and got carrer under father's request, launches his unusual life . In process of carrer , he is forced to exile twice , he must think life and death phenomenon because death almost befalls on him. The thoughts in Song dynasty is influenced by Sui, Tang and five era. Confucianism、Taoism and Buddhism thoughts affect scholar more and less. Su Shi likes to learn on classics and history. Confucianism、Taoism and Buddhism thoughts and talk of monk also are part of Su Shi’s thoughts. In life travel, Su Shi considers life and death subject with his various aspect of thoghts. His thoghts is not fixed and based on knowledge to see new meanings with conversion and self-reflection. So he can resolve dillema and upgrade spirit to get multiple meanings for life. Because reasons above,he can die with peace on his mind. This research generalizes the approaches of life and death about human’s life. It studies viewpoints of life and death of Su Shi’s works. It also summarizes of life wisdom and makes references for modern people.
