Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 工業科技教育學系 === 102 === The main purpose of this research was to explore the administrative teachers’ organizational commitment of the relationship between the principal’s charismatic leadership and personality traits of teachers in elementary schools. In order to reach the aim, the study firstly discussed the relevant theories and researches. Secondarily, the literature review was offered as a frame for reference. Thirdly, questionaire survey was used to figure out two issues. One is the relationship among principal’s charismatic leadership, personality traits of teachers with administrative duties and organizational commitment. The other is the predictability of organizational commitment based on principal’s charismatic leadership and personality traits of teachers with administrative duties. The survey was conducted with a sampling of 235 teachers with administrative duties from public elementary schools of
Kaohsiung City.
After the statistic analysis,the results of this research were as follows:
1. The retention commitment perceived by teachers varied with different administrative stages
when the chief changes.
2. The organizational commitment perceived by teachers varied with different school size and
administrative stages.
3. There were significant positive correlations between principal’s charismatic leadership and
organizational commitment.
4. The personality traits of well-being has a positive influence to Organizational Commitment.
5. There was a significant predictability for organizational commitment based on principal’s
charismatic leadership and personality traits of teachers with administrative duties.
Finally, based on the results, suggestions foreducational administration agencies, lementary schools,teachers and futurestudy were proposed.
